Precision Acoustics (PA) NH series needle hydrophones are high-performance PVDF-based probes designed for acoustic pressure measurement in medical ultrasound fields. With probe diameters ranging from 0.2mm to 4.0mm, they offer exceptional spatial resolution and minimal perturbation to the ultrasound beam, making them ideal for both basic calibration and advanced R&D applications.
The hydrophones feature a flat frequency response across a wide bandwidth, ensuring accurate measurements from low-frequency therapeutic ultrasound to high-frequency diagnostic imaging systems. Each unit is calibrated at the UK’s National Physical Laboratory (NPL), providing traceable accuracy that meets the strict requirements of IEC 62127-1, NEMA UD-3, and FDA 510(k) regulations.
