NH4000 4.0mm Needle Hydrophone, Ultra High Sensitivity PVDF Hydrophone 0.05MHz-10MHz 

The NH4000 4.0mm Needle Hydrophone delivers the highest sensitivity among the full series. Adopting PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) piezoelectric technology, it works with submersible preamplifier and DC coupler to form a complete testing system.

Compliant with IEC 62127-3, it covers a frequency range of 0.05MHz~10MHz and is specially optimized for ultrasonic measurements below 1 MHz.Equipped with a 4.0mm large sensor element, it features an average sensitivity of 8.0 V/MPa across 0.05MHz~10MHz, capable of detecting ultra-weak acoustic signals as low as 7.5 Pa. The sensitivity variation between individual units is within ±3 dB for reliable and consistent performance.
 
Weighing 5.7g, the hydrophone is fully submersible and withstands hydrostatic pressure up to 2m water depth. It is widely used for medical ultralow frequency ultrasound calibration, weak sound field measurement, laboratory acoustic research and industrial low-frequency ultrasonic testing.
