The AFL OPM5 is designed to measure the optical power of all types of networks and perform insertion loss measurements on the optical fiber links.
 

Automatic wavelength identification significantly improves efficiency

 
The standard Wave ID function can automatically detect and set the receiving wavelength, preventing setup and measurement errors (when used with the AFL OLS series light sources). It significantly improves efficiency, reduces errors made by technicians, and saves testing time, as each wavelength does not need to be tested separately. 
 
Optical reference storage 
The OPM5 can store optical references for each calibration wavelength and provide multiple test tones for fiber identification. 
 
Use TRM (Test Results Management) for storing, transmitting and post-processing of test results 
 
The OPM5 file management system enables technicians to organize test results into multiple files.

The stored OPM results can be transferred via the USB port to a PC, allowing users to view, analyze, and generate professional reports using the accompanying Windows-compatible TRM Basic test result management software.

TRM enables users to apply industry-standard rules to test results and create comprehensive certification reports, including pass/fail results and calculated margins.
