This is a portable high-precision transmissive black-and-white density meter, specially designed for the rapid detection of optical density (blackness) of industrial X-ray films, medical films, and various black-sensitive materials. It adopts single-chip microcomputer digital processing technology and stable light source, with precise readings, strong stability, and simple operation. It is widely used in non-destructive testing, pressure vessels, ships, bridges, medical and other fields.

Instruction for Use:
Method for measuring density value
1. After connecting the power cord, turn on the power switch on the left side of the instrument. The display will show "-1. Before measuring II, the instrument should be preheated for 5 minutes.
2. Without placing any test pieces, press the measuring arm. At this time, the display will show "E.1". Continue to hold the measuring arm without releasing it, and at the same time press the automatic zero adjustment key "ZERO" on the upper left of the instrument. The display will show "0.00". Release the measuring arm, and the instrument will enter the density value measurement state.
3. Align the sample to be tested with the light hole of the instrument, press the measuring arm, and the display will show the measured density value.

2. The standard density sheets provided with the instrument serve as the calibration reference. They should be well stored to prevent mold, aging, contamination or scratches, and avoid strong light exposure.
3. When the measured value exceeds the specified density range, the measurement data still has reference value.
4. After using the instrument, it should be placed back in the packaging box and protected from dust to avoid dust accumulation at the light holes, which may affect the accuracy of the test.
5. This instrument has undergone strict inspection before leaving the factory and can ensure the accuracy of the readings for a long time.
6. When moving the instrument, do not lift the measuring arm; otherwise, it may be damaged, affecting the measurement results.
7. This equipment has a metal casing. For safety, the power supply should be well grounded (make sure the power strip has good grounding when using it).
