KS107-3D Ultrasound Phantom consists of a background ultrasound tissue-mimicking (TM) material and an oval target embedded in it, and is specifically used to investigate the volume measurement error in reconstructed three-dimensional imaging.

Basic structure

 1. The three side walls and bottom surface of the housing are made of plexiglass, and the top surface and one side are plastic film acoustic windows;
 
 2. The overall dimensions are 15cm×15cm×15cm;
 
 3. There are two round holes with a diameter of 3.6cm in the bottom plate and are sealed with a thin layer of rubber for the purpose of injecting maintenance fluid and degassing;
 
 4. The egg-shaped blocks embedded in the background TM material are of different sizes. The larger one has a volume of about 60cm3, and the smaller one has a volume of nearly 10cm3. The exact value is given with the product.
 
 5. There is a set of nylon wire targets in the background TM material. The distance between adjacent target wires is 10mm. Through two acoustic windows, the longitudinal and transverse geometric errors of two-dimensional imaging can be measured, indirectly verifying whether the sound speed of the TM material is in a standard state (the geometric error is qualified). status).

The calibration volume of the large oval is 63.3cm3, and the calibration volume of the small oval is 8.7cm3
The reference size of the large oval is ø43×65mm, and the reference size of the small oval is ø23×30mm.
The oval block has the same sound attenuation and sound velocity as the background material, and the slope of the sound attenuation coefficient is: 0.70±0.05dB/cm/MHz (23±3℃), but has different backscattering.
