The Femur Phantom is a precision-machined, anatomically shaped test artifact designed for calibrating industrial X-ray, computed tomography (CT), and dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) systems. It replicates the complex geometry of a human proximal femur, providing a realistic reference for validating dimensional metrology, geometric accuracy, and bone density measurement performance.

A.1. Femoral Mold

The femoral mold is recommended to be of the type shown in Figure A.1 and Table A.1, or any other model with the corresponding functions. The material is aluminum.
